I Can (All You Need Is The Will)
All of us have dreams. And each one of us wants to fulfill all our dreams in our life span. Yet only a few can make things happen and live their dreams. What are the factors which differentiate this small minority who live their dreams from the large majority who give up on their dreams? Is it education? Hardwork? Attitude? or Luck?
Some of these factors are picked up in schools and colleges, from the home and work environment or from the sheer experience of living life by trial and error. Such a process of living life takes a lot of time, energy, and effort. And inspite of going through all these experiences, success seems too hard to achieve and so, many people conveniently attribute others' success to Luck!
I Can V2 is a three months leadership program designed by Pathik to fill this gap that exists between success and failure and help you live your dreams. The program focuses on certain crucial principles of nature and skills - attitudinal and functional skills which aim to change our behavioral patterns and thinking paradigms. This program, one of its kind has been developed after 22 years of research.

The Go-Getter Attitude:
What is the Go-Getter attitude?
Do you have passion running in your veins?
How can I be a Go-Getter?
You can either be a victim of circumstances or tread the path of your dreams inspite of the circumstances. The Go-Getter attitude advocates the latter. Whenever a task is assigned to someone, he/she makes a plan to accomplish it. While executing the plan an obstacle may arise. Here is where the difference between a mediocre and a Go-Getter becomes clear. Whereas, a mediocre waits till the path is cleared, a Go-Getter hunts for other options, finishes the task and respects the deadline assigned to the task.
The 'I Can' program starts with imbibing this Go-Getter attitude in the participants and this is the first step in our journey

GOAL SETTING: The Biggest Secret of effective Living
How do I set Goals?
Does Goal Setting really help?
What is the purpose of my existence?
Often a Goal Setting exercise is a wish list written on paper under a strong emotional spell. The document is seldom backed up by research or facts. Also the chances of it being reviewed and revised are very slim. Due to this many of us view this whole exercise with a pinch of skepticism. ‘I Can’ will introduce you to the concept of a Vision Book. Writing your wish list is indeed the first step, however what follows after that is a month long exercise of research where you will hunt for answers which will clarify the what, why, how, when about your Goals. In every session your progress will be monitored so that you have a workable and practical action plan to start working towards your dreams.

MANAGING TIME:
How can I achieve Work-Life balance?
In spite of planning why can I not manage my time?
I know several of these techniques, but why does nothing help?
This module will help you to answer the basic question, "Time management for what purpose?" Once the dreams are defined, you are clear about your priorities - what is important and who (people) are important in your life. Next you need a system to put these priorities ahead of other things so that you invest your time on the right things. Finally, you need the discipline and commitment to execute what you have planned. The key lies in doing all the three things viz. Prioritizing, Planning and Executing consistently. 'I Can' first trains you how to do these things and then makes you do them consistently for 10 weeks till you form a habit and produce results using the principles of time management.

Human Relationships:
Why is all my well meaning advice worth nothing?
I love my folks but they just don't understand me.
Does love really exist in this world?
Human nature is a never-to-be-fully-solved mystery. Many times you manage to hurt people in spite of your best intentions. Communication with your colleagues can become a big challenge. The foundation for any relationship is trust. If there is trust, love, care and respect follow. 'I Can' will train you to use the basic time-tested and people-tested principles of human nature which help you build the bridge of trust between human relationships.

Focus:
What is Focus?
Have you seen a person less talented than you become more successful than you?
Why should you avoid a part-time business?
The sun has thousands of kilowatts of energy, yet you can protect yourself from its power with a simple umbrella. The lazer beam, on the other hand, with only a few kilowatts of energy can drill a diamond or even wipe out cancer. That is the power of focus. It is not how much talent you have that is important, but how you exploit whatever talent (even below average) you have that makes the difference. 'I Can' helps you to experience the power of focus which you will start believing in once you start creating results during the program.

PROJECTS:
What is a project?
What is a Process?
Will this program help me create tangible results in my life?
For achieving concrete results, mere positive thinking and planning are not sufficient. These have to be followed by aggressive action. After your goals are set and you have learnt how to organize yourself, you have to go through the acid test of the Project. In the last one month of the program, 'I Can' challenges you to achieve one tangible and measurable result in your life in a month's time frame. Using the Go-Getter attitude you have to stretch yourself and achieve a seemingly impossible dream as a Project. The program helps you to set the target, plan towards it and achieve it using the 'Project system'.

MENTAL DIET
What is an emotion?
How do I manage my emotions?
Are emotions good or bad? Is fear negative and excitement positive? Is fear a negative emotion and ecstasy a positive emotion?
Emotions are like the spices we add in our food. They do make your food tasty, but overuse of spices can lead to acidity. Similarly emotions help us live a richer life, yet if we fail to manage them, they can lead to disastrous impacts on our mental and physical health. 'I Can' teaches the basics about emotions and how to manage them. During the program you will learn how to have a balanced perspective so that the negative impact of emotions on relationships and thinking can be avoided and so that the decisions that you take hereafter are based on intelligence, gut and logic and not on emotions.

REFRAMING
Why is life cruel at times?
Why do I fail inspite of dedicated efforts?
How can I take have a different perspective about the tragic incidents of my life?
We hear this principle time and again - "Whatever happens, happens for the best." But do we really believe it? Basically any incident of our life does not inherently hold any meaning, whether positive or negative. 'I Can' trains you to develop a perspective wherein you start exploiting any happening to your maximum advantage without being negatively affected by it. You will be convinced that your best coach, guide and friend in life is life itself.

Financial Management
Why are credit cards good?
Why should I invest in Mutual funds or stocks?
Why should I avoid a housing loan?
Managing finances is an art. Financial decisions need to be made logically and not emotionally. Remember, a very important resource to live your dreams is money. It should be invested and spent wisely to nurture your dreams. 'I Can' will answer questions like, How to allocate your money? How to take risks? When loans are good and when they are not? By using these principles, you can become financially prosperous and mentally peaceful about the future.

The UBU Attitude
Can I relive the child within me?
How can I get out the rut that I have gotten into?
Is de-aging possible?
Change is the law of life. Human nature clings to familiarity but we also like novelty. Most of us cling to familiarity within ourselves and seek novelty outside by buying new things. Yet the best way to seek novelty is by exploring new facets of our own personality. Keeping the child within you alive, being enthusiastic and seeking new answers by trying new things is the essence of the UBU attitude. This is one of the most exciting weeks of the program, where you break rules, do things you never dared to do before (but always wanted to do) and experience a sense of liberation. This will help you to have heavy doses of self confidence running through you veins. The UBU attitude can bring about a sea change in you. The participant exuding greatest confidence is awarded the UBU Trophy.

Communication Skills
I have butterflies in my stomach when I face an audience
How can I face interviews?
I want to say a lot of things but I get tongue-tied?
The most powerful tool in today's world is the ability to communicate effectively. It could be giving a presentation, giving a sales talk, appearing for an interview or negotiating a deal. Smart communicators often outsmart talented and deserving professionals who are poor in their communication skills. This is the skill which will be ingrained in you extensively and exhaustively by a series of exercises, presentations and role plays, in every session of the program. The winners are honored with special medals.
